A D.C. construction firm has promoted two longtime managers to help guide its next phase of growth. 

GCS-Sigal has named Gabe Oliver and Dan Waldo as partners, joining President and CEO Mike Sigal on the leadership team. The promotions come after a multi-year realignment for the 62-person firm that included the merger of two affiliated companies and its relocation from Arlington to D.C. as it's become more involved in major D.C.school and public works projects.

Sigal Construction Corp. and GCS Inc. have formally merged and the new company has just opened its new headquarters in the District. 

“By bringing the two companies together under one roof in a collaborative environment, we’ve strengthened our operations and are built for growth,” Mike Sigal, president and CEO of GCS-Sigal, said in a release.
