Raymond Recreation Center

GCS-SIGAL completed this two-phase recreation center project. Phase I involved demolishing an existing facility and constructing a new two-story recreation center, including athletic and meeting facilities for the community. Key features include a gymnasium with a high school regulation basketball court, a weight room, a computer room, a game room, restrooms, small locker facilities, three multi-purpose rooms, and a kitchen.

Phase II focused on the development of synthetic turf athletic fields, outdoor multi-purpose courts, playgrounds for various age groups, and a partially green roof. Both phases were executed adjacent to an operational elementary school, with GCS-SIGAL ensuring the playground remained open for community use. Coordination with the school and the surrounding residential neighborhood was essential to address protection, safety, and scheduling of construction activities.
