The 12-story Constance Milstein & Family Global Academic Center at New York University (NYU) DC Campus serves as a residential, academic, and social hub. The upper floors house dorm rooms, while the lower levels include seminar spaces, classrooms, a 200-seat auditorium, administrative offices, and a spacious lobby that doubles as a student lounge and event space.

Construction on the narrow site, bordered by an adjacent building, a busy street, and a public alley, required meticulous planning. Special attention was needed for deep excavation of the below-grade levels and positioning a crane to avoid interference with nearby buildings’ antenna and satellite equipment.
